Colman Domingo is headed back to the Broadway company of Chicago as slick-talking lawyer Billy Flynn. The actor will begin performances on January 10 at the Ambassador Theatre and remain with the show through February 6. Bianca Marroquin, who currently plays Roxie Hart, has extended her engagment and will continue to play the merry murderess through April 3.
Domingo starred as Mr. Bones in The Scottsboro Boys earlier this season. His other Broadway credits include Passing Strange and Well. He has appeared off-Broadway in A Boy and His Soul, Bright Ideas and Henry V.
Chicago also currently stars Leigh Zimmerman as Velma Kelly, LaVon Fisher-Wilson as Mama Morton, Robert Creighton as Amos Hart and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine. The Tony-winning revival is now in its 14th year on Broadway.
